After 42 years of failed policies with the New Orleans Saints, it's time for a new coach.  A coach of change.  We need to bring the middle class season ticket holders back into the game again.  With players not knowing if they took steriods or not and kickers being cut randomly, it's time for a change.  I have stuck with every coach the Saints have ever had.  I have never gone against the current coach no matter who it was, but it's time.  We cannot take the constant mistakes of the current regime.  Bad draft decisions, bad play calling, poor defensive coaching, not really having a defense.  It has been proved that defense is what wins championships, why can't the coaches see this.  Since your defense cannot stop anyone, let's cut the kickers, yeah, that will work.  Coach Payton just got a contract extension early this year.  Why is mediocrity rewarded in our society?  The TV weather man is wrong most of the time, but many of them are paid very well.  Our football players don't know if they are taking steriods or not, yet they are paid millions?  Teachers and social workers, people who are supposed to be helping others are paid very little, despite they having to attain much education.  We need to realize what is important in our country, that is football, baseball and basketball.  This must be the case as these are the people who make much of the money and isn't money how we grade who is important in our society?  For a change let's elect Barack Obama new head coach of the New Orleans Saints!  Yes we can!

Obama for coach of the New Orleans Saints!

I think obama has his hands full with trying to run this country. What makes people think he can run a football team. Sean Payton is a hell of a coach he brings in a lot of guys you have never heard about. The next thing you know they fit in great. I think obama is failing as a president cause everything he said he would back he has let us down.

Obama for coach of the New Orleans Saints!

Thank you so much for your comment.  The failed policies of the past eight years have taken it's toll on everyone.  I hope to God Obama becomes President.  I have been somewhat down lately and I also hope that Payton can take the Saints to the Superbowl.  I appreciate your comment, it acutally made me feel better.  My wife has become disabled in the past two years and it has taken a toll on our income.  I work one and  a half jobs and I am trying to get a better job.  Of course, my wife has been turned down for disability once so far.  She worked over thirty years before her back caused her not not be able to work.  Again, thanks so much for your positive comment.  My wife and I will probably never actually move back to New Orleans, (my heart will always be there),  but I hope you are able to help New Orleans become once again the city it once was or hopefully better.  Here's to the Crescent City, New Orleans, LA.

Obama for coach of the New Orleans Saints!

Born in New Orleans, now living in California, I have followed the Saints from the first game I ever saw them, when the Saints played the Rams in 1971, the last year the Rams worn Blue and White uniforms, and Tom Demsey kick a 57 yard field goal at the half, the Saints did win that game. I have seen it all, from Thunder and Lightning in the backfield, Wes Chanler at wide out, Earl Campbell, Archie, the Defense we had for years with no offense, Bum Phillips, Aaron Brooks, I know exactly what you are saying. This coach is the best to getting to the Superbowl of whatever we had, ever. We just need this team to act like a complete team and no injuries. Like the Hornets, this team really has a chance to get to the big show, it just has to come together and this bye is that time to focus on the big picture. I rather Obama to get this country back together and fix the mess the Republican have done these last 8 years. With everything falling into place, Obama will be President, The New Orleans Saints win the Superbowl, The New Orleans Hornets win the NBA Title, lets hope for that, then concentrate on getting the people and history of New Orleans back to New Orleans and get my city back to what it use to be. I am working on coming back to fix it, having two teams winning it all will be great, and it will happen.
